Lawsuit Filed Against Kohl’s for Web Accessibility Issues
Attorneys Pelayo Duran and Roderick V. Hannah recently filed a lawsuit against Kohl’s for violating ADA requirements. The lawsuit was brought forward on behalf of Pedro Vergara, a man living with visual impairments.
The plaintiff is unable to use his computer without the assistance of appropriate and available auxiliary aids, screen reader software, and other technology and assistance. Unfortunately, the Kohl’s website is not compatible with this technology, making it impossible for the plaintiff to gain full access to the site and all its content.
